I have always loved to find ways to help people. After watching friends and family hit by the 2008-2009 stock market issues, and the opportunity arose to become a financial advisor at Edward Jones, I knew I had found my true passion. Being able to help people reach their financial goals and live their dreams of retirement, putting their children or grandchildren through college loan free, and just making sure their family is taken care of in the event of the unexpected, fueled my passion and has been, and continues to be, a very rewarding experience.
I am the Junior Vice Commander of VFW Post 11999 as well as a National Aide-de-Camp to the National VFW Commander, and enjoy the community events the Post is active in, such as helping returning soldiers acclimate back into civilian life, providing holiday meals to those in need, and promoting child safety. I also work with the Lincoln County Creative Aging which helps seniors find resources they need and to stay active in the community and find a new "career" after they have retired through volunteering. I recently became involved with Altrusa to help promote literacy and to provide free mammograms to women who can't afford them. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, and as a history buff, exploring all there is to offer in Lincoln County.
It has been said that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I have certainly found that in this career, and look forward to serving my clients and community every day. It is an honor to help the people in my community and help them reach their goals through personalized service.
