As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I enjoy developing long-term relationships with my clients, in which you have the opportunity to build wealth, live generously and leave a legacy. We accomplish this by using a personalized strategy that will help achieve what's most important to you.
Prior to Edward Jones, I began my career in recruiting in 2007. Soon after, the Great Recession began and my priorities changed. Perhaps it's because I grew up in a very small town, but community involvement and helping others has always been important to me. After years in recruiting, I felt there was more I could do to help others and to make a difference. And with the recent memory of how important financial decisions can be, I began to explore a career as a financial advisor. I met a local Edward Jones advisor at a chamber of commerce networking event. We began to have some regular one-on-one conversations about the firm, and eventually I made the best decision of my life and joined Edward Jones. I am afforded a very real opportunity to work with people in Wylie and the surrounding areas to help them plan for their own and their family's financial future. I enjoy my work, and my clients sometimes feel like extended family.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006. My wife, Crystal, who is the greatest ICU nurse in the industry, and I have been married since 2011, and we have a beautiful, strong-willed daughter named Ivy. We have two rescue golden retrievers named Phoenix and Hank; Hank loves everyone, Phoenix loves only me. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, fishing, hunting, camping and anything else outdoors.
I have the chance to partner with Dee Dee Toler, my branch office administrator. She is dedicated to providing clients with the highest level of service they have come to expect. Before joining Edward Jones, DeeDee was a volleyball coach and teacher for 30 years, and still does some club coaching.
