I was born and raised in rural Montana – my father is a residential general contractor, so whether I liked it or not, I spent many nights, weekends and summers "learning" the construction trade. Though I may not have felt the same back then, I now appreciate the time and hard work spent with my father, and value those great learning experiences I had as a child.
I graduated from Manhattan High School in 2004 and enrolled at Montana State University. I worked construction while I was attending school but had to shift my plans in 2008 when the housing market fell. I moved to Hawaii with my wonderful wife and joined the U.S. Army Reserves in 2009. I graduated in 2012 and was commissioned into the U.S. Army as an Ordinance Officer. I spent the next three years in Fairbanks, AK and received an Honorable Discharge in 2015.
I am very proud of my family, which includes my wife, Nicole, a high school history teacher, and our two wonderful children, ages 2 and 4. I also have extended family in the area who I enjoy spending my free time with.
I work well with individuals from all walks of life but have found that I connect particularly well with educators, active duty and military veterans and individuals in the construction industry. I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients to build the financial life they want.
