I have a background in consulting, business development and market research. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and hold a degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from University of Houston.
After being a client of Edward Jones for over nine years, I joined the firm as a financial advisor because I learned to appreciate helping people with investments as well as the firm's client-focused attention. Although I enjoy helping all clients, my targeted areas are business owners and independent contractors, who likely do not have the benefit of an employer-sponsored plan, as well as workplace retirement plans.
My clients focus on building their business while I focus on helping them achieve their financial goals. Additionally, given that I am fluent in Spanish, I welcome the opportunity to assist Hispanic clients who may be more comfortable with speaking their native language.
Besides getting to know my clients in such a way that I provide the most customized financial strategy for them, my other passions are travel, wine tasting and community outreach. As such, I currently serve on the board for a non-profit called Hands4Hope LA and support various other organizations.
