In 2008, while working at a job I disliked, I heard these words from my wife, Karen, "either quit your griping or do something about it." After extensive conversations with a close friend, I realized that a career change was needed. Those words from my wife led me to make a life-changing decision to become a financial advisor and brought me to Edward Jones. I wanted to turn my passion into a career to help people. I currently hold the registrations and licenses Edward Jones requires and the CRPC™ professional designation.
Prior to enlisting in the Air Force, I earned my bachelor's degree in business administration from Winona State University. Karen, my wife, and I have two kids, and both are married. In addition, we also have four grandkids. We have lived in the Northfield area since 2010.
My branch office administrator, Alyssa Parsons, and I are inspired every single day by the people we are so lucky to work with and meet. We are fortunate to be able to serve our neighbors in the communities around Northfield and are eager to help more people.
My ideal clients are those that want to carefully and thoughtfully work towards financial goals that range from preparing for or living in retirement, sending a child/children to college, estate considerations and preparing for the unexpected. No two scenarios are the same, and neither are the approaches to mapping out the strategies for achieving those goals.
As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it's important for me to understand what you're working toward before you invest your money. I focus on learning what your long-term goals are. I want to make the process simple and easy to understand. It's also important to understand the level of risk you're comfortable accepting when investing. We will use an established process to help you build personalized strategies to reach your goals.
I welcome the opportunity to learn about you and your financial priorities. It all starts with a conversation – let's visit.
