There are things in our life that we can control, and obviously things that we cannot. When it comes to finances, it oftentimes feels as if there are more things out of our control than not; taxes, inflation and time, to name a few. Erica, my Senior Branch Administrator, and I will work with you to identify the things that you can control and how to minimize the negative impact from those things you can't.

We do this by walking you through our process to gain a deep level of understanding of what's most important to you while also providing a personal, first-class level of service. This also includes working with your other professionals (CPA, attorney, real estate, etc.) to implement the strategies we create together and monitor them to make sure you stay on track. Erica and I are willing to take on the heavy lifting, helping to bring those things you can and cannot control into alignment, allowing you to focus on enjoying life and fulfilling your personal, family and philanthropic goals.

I received my bachelor’s degree in management and organizational leadership from George Fox University and am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. As a CFP® professional, I completed the advanced education, training and ethical standards in the areas of finances, tax-sensitive investment strategies, business retirement plans, insurance planning, and estate considerations. Additionally, I am a Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) and have a passion for working directly with business owners to help them achieve a balance between business, personal life and finances. This process involves enhancing current business strategies along with succession and exit planning and the many options owners have.

Outside of the office, much of my time is spent with my wife and two kids at one sporting event or another. I own an action and sports photography business, and also enjoy woodworking, cooking and spending time on my tractor working around my property.

Erica is also a proud mom of two kids and loves anything related to the Blazers and Seahawks. You'll never find her camping in the woods, but she will be more than willing to bait a line on the river to snag a Springer Salmon.
