I grew up in Southern California and moved to Vail in the summer of 1976 to live, play and work in the Colorado mountains. I became a master plumber, contractor and developer. As a successful business owner, I understand how the financial success of the business is as important as the skills needed to perform the job. I learned accounting, business management, human resources and how to invest in employees.
Running a profitable business allowed me the opportunity to invest outside of my business. I found that investing over decades in stocks, bonds and real estate was a great way to better understand how successful companies are managed and supplement my business income.
I retired from the construction industry at 55, which had been a long time dream of mine. Shortly after, I realized that I was too young to retire. I began my search for a different meaningful and rewarding career.
I started working as a financial advisor in 2013. Listening to my clients lets me understand what is important to them. I use my knowledge, experience and our process to help guide my clients to set financial milestones and goals that are personal and meaningful to them. I work with my clients throughout their lives, making adjustments along the way.
I enjoy helping my clients prepare family and business financial foundations. This may include life and disability insurance so they are prepared for the unexpected. I help my clients save for their children's education, both K-12 and college. Helping them save for retirement as well as living in retirement is a top priority for my clients. I help my clients have a long term care strategy for health concerns. I work with their CPA and attorney to coordinate their financial, tax and estate strategies.
I love working with business owners to establish retirement plans, key employee compensation and succession plans. I also work with their employees to create their own goals.
Let's create your strong financial team together.
