Making a living requires hard work, dedication and perseverance. Providing for yourself and your family comes with daily challenges. I know firsthand the effort and sacrifice it takes to make ends meet and work toward achieving your life goals and dreams. That is why I take investing very seriously and strive to provide my clients with the strategies that are appropriate for them.
I'm a native of St. Louis, MO, but Jefferson City has largely been my home since I finished my master's degree in economics at the University of MO-Columbia. I met my wife, Sally, while working for the state and we were married in 1988. We have two grown children, Blair and Brian, and one granddaughter, Marki.
When I began to look seriously at becoming a financial advisor, I had been working for the State of MO for almost 17 years. I did a lot of soul searching about what was best for my family, and a lot of research. I was impressed with the company – a Fortune 500 firm whose investing philosophy is centered on personal service.* I took the leap and have never looked back.
It has been 17 years since I opened my practice in Jefferson City and I'm happy to serve a wide variety of clients both in Mid-MO and around the nation. I believe personal customer service is my hallmark. I like to get to know the people I serve both personally and professionally. I will spend as much time as you like determining the most appropriate course of action to achieve your financial dreams. Again, I know how hard it can be to save money to invest in your future, so I personally respect what a big leap it is to trust someone else. If life throws you a curveball, I'll be there for you should we need to change course.
I have been very fortunate throughout my life's journey and count my work for Edward Jones as one such good fortune. I am eager to go to work for you to help you achieve your financial goals, whatever they may be. Please give me a call or stop by and see me. Thank you for your consideration.
