I learned the hard way of how to be a financial advisor and how much I could have used some good advice myself along the way.
While my girls were toddlers, my husband's health changed suddenly. With medical bills, insurance claims and so much paperwork, at times it felt overwhelming. I leaned into my career development, earning a master's degree. I was blessed with opportunities to develop my library career in both the corporate world and as a municipal library director for the City of Burleson.
When the idea of working as a financial advisor was offered to me in 2008, my thought was that my love of working with people and partnering with them to reach their financial goals would motivate me. I am happy to say that my business is so much more than just a job – it's a chance for me to fulfill my passion of improving the lives of families and business in our community.
Edward Jones is the right match for me and my clients. Modeling the partnership I foster with my clients, Edward Jones is a Fortune 500 company that is one of the rare Wall Street Partnerships that remains.* This allows our branch to work independently and yet have a tremendous support team to provide a very high standard of excellence throughout the firm.
In our branch, I partner with branch office assistant Cyndi Walker, who has served this office for more than 15 years. She is actively involved in the community through her church and as a master naturalist. She travels with her avid bird-watching family to many exotic places around the world pursuing their passion.
My husband, David, and I love traveling, hiking, biking and gardening. We love to fellowship with people at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. I participate in Burleson Area Midday Rotary Club and the Burleson Chamber. Most of our spare time is keeping up with family including my mom, our four adult children and six grandchildren.
Call us now to allow us to partner with you to help you achieve your dreams.
