I am a South Carolina native whose father instilled in me a value system that remains today: to approach open dialogue with humility and compassion. I fervently believe that we’re all bridge builders in someone else’s journey.

In my early career, I pursued financial advising, believing that financial education results in lasting effects on communities, family, health, legacy and quality of life. My goal to work for a company whose culture aided people in living their best life led me to Edward Jones.

Background and education

I earned a BS in business administration from The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Before joining Edward Jones, was a mortgage underwriter. Since 2001, I’ve served as an Edward Jones financial advisor with professional certifications including CFP®
or CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the AAMS™ or Accredited Asset Management Specialist™.

My community involvement includes being a graduate of Leadership Greenville class 46 and serving on several Regional and local education boards. I’m also a member of Greenville and Simpsonville Chambers of Commerce.

My branch team, Donna Sears and Amee Patel, seek to provide clients with a family-like atmosphere while delivering the highest level of service possible. To achieve this, we implement client desires and priorities, establishing how current financial decisions affect one’s long-term progress.

Desired partnerships consist of goal-focused, plan-driven individuals preparing for life’s unknowns, best stewarding their time and resources. Discovery conversations ensure compatibility before we present solutions.

If a current plan indicates goal progression, we advise accordingly. If we recognize improvement opportunities, we invite clients to join our branch family. If we determine a client would be best served elsewhere, we recommend someone in our network.

Our focus areas include estate and legacy planning, retirement distribution strategies, protection strategies, serving small businesses, tax considerations and wealth accumulation. Our established process is holistic, rooted in client values. Finally, the service plan emphasizes client interests first to ensure families are prepared for tomorrow’s eventualities.
