What matters most in my life is my family. Jennifer and I have been married for 16 years. We stay active living in Fishers raising our six children, Grace (14), Violet (11), Ruby (9), Charlotte (6), Michael (3) and baby Lydia, who was born in March 2021. Jennifer provides care for an underserved community part time as a physician assistant. We attend Holy Spirit at Geist Church where you'll find us sitting in the front row on Sundays.
In 2002, I began my career in Fishers as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Throughout my career, it has been a priority to be an active learner and continually grow my knowledge. Earning my CFP®, AAMS™, and CRPS™ professional certifications allow me to provide guidance to individual, corporate and municipal clients. Using an established process, Mindy, Merlena and I help our clients build personalized strategies to help achieve their goals and work together as a team to provide an ideal client experience. Over the past 20 years with Edward Jones, I've served in many different leadership roles including mentor, field trainer, level leader and recruiting leader. I've also had the privilege of being selected as a conference presenter and panelist for firm wide virtual training.
Giving back to my community has always been a personal benchmark for success. I am an active board member and past president of The Fifty Club of Fishers. This non-profit club supports the City of Fishers police officers and firefighters in the event of duty-related disability or death. I served on the Fishers Chamber of Commerce Board for nine years and led the organization as chairman of the board in 2012. I've worked with the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation as a board member where I held leadership roles on the finance committee, executive committee and as secretary for the organization.
I am a 1998 graduate of the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, where I focused on economics and finance. I walked onto the Purdue football team as a freshman and earned a full ride scholarship playing defensive tackle under Jim Colleto and Joe Tiller. This experience shaped me as a person in always striving to be my best.
