We're aiding comfort for a plan sponsor, and we're going to help you through the process of your paperwork. We're going to educate you around the resources and the things that you need to have ready for your plan. Even, if they don't work with me and me being their financial advisor.
If I have information that I can share with someone, I do. That drives loyalty for that business owner and providing that education benefits for the participant.
But also, it puts us in front of the participants. We've got the trust of the plan sponsor, and now we're growing that trust with the participant in education, teaching them about stocks, bonds, mutual funds.
Every time I deliver an education to financial advisors or participants in a 401K, I learn something. It doesn't matter how many times I roll this education out, I learn something, and it makes me tie that back into somebody that I serve here in the branch, or someone I've talked to.
My 'why' was, I want to make sure I educate people whether or not they work with Edward Jones or whoever, I want to educate people, impact my community and get information out there so they know when they're making those retirement decisions.
They're responsible and saying, 'okay, I know how I'm paying for my investment', and all of those things. I love teaching, because I care about people, and I care about helping them be equipped to make good decisions for their life.
