Edward Jones Advisory Solutions® Fund Models

These models let investors select a portfolio objective, then delegate the day-to-day investment decisions to a team of research analysts.

If you'd prefer not to be involved in day-to-day investment decisions, Advisory Solutions Fund Models let you delegate that work to a team of investment professionals. After you select a portfolio objective and a Fund Model, a team of research analysts will manage your chosen Model.

Features at a glance

Choosing a model

First, we'll help you select a portfolio objective. This will serve as a guide for your overall investment strategy by determining the recommended allocation ranges for investments you should have in your portfolio – based on your risk tolerance, timeline and goals. Using that information, we'll help you choose from a broad range of Research Models we have available. After that, professionals will manage your chosen model, making the day-to-day investment decisions to keep your account aligned with your portfolio objective and our guidance.

Extensive research models

Each Research Model is designed by a team of professionals at Edward Jones and contains a mix of mutual funds and/or ETFs. The advantage of using a Research Model is that your portfolio's investments are instantly diversified and pre-selected to meet a specific goal.

Staying on track

We monitor your account and automatically rebalance it if it drifts from your model's target allocations. This helps ensure your investments stay aligned with our guidance and your needs and goals. In addition to regular account statements that detail your progress, Quarterly Performance Reports will be made available and you'll meet with your financial advisor at least once a year to review your progress.

How you'll pay for services

To get started with Advisory Solutions Fund Models, you'll need an initial investment of $25,000 or more. The Program Fee begins at 1.35% and the Portfolio Strategy Fee begins at 0.09%. These fees are tiered so additional invested assets are subject to lower fees. The Program Fee includes your financial advisor's services, trading costs, performance reporting, evaluation and selection of investments for the program by Edward Jones research professionals, and other services to keep your account aligned with our guidance. The Portfolio Strategy Fee covers professional portfolio management, including model construction and active management, and for UMA Models, overlay management. The fees do not include the internal expenses of the mutual funds and ETFs you own. Paying an ongoing fee can make expenses more predictable, but can be more expensive over time.
