Experience and Background

My goal is to understand what is important to you, whether it is short-term goals, long-term goals or both.

As a financial advisor, it's important to invest my time understanding what you're working toward before you invest your money. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I use an established process to help you build personalized strategies to achieve your goals. I can also help you create a comprehensive retirement savings and income strategy that helps provide more options when you decide to retire or are living in retirement.

I opened the firm's first office dedicated to serving both Swain and Graham Counties. I have been honored with the firm's Ted Jones Prospecting Award, Partners Award, Century Award and Pioneer Award.

I have been active in community business and civic affairs for many years and currently serve as a member of Rotary, North Carolina Community Foundation, and Teen Challenge of the Smokies. In addition, I am a board member of Graham County Animal Advocates, a liaison for Swain County High School, a member of Interact Club, and founder and former president of the Robbinsville Elementary PTO.

I have lived in Western North Carolina since 1995 and am the proud father of three daughters: Sarah, Jessie and Emily.

My office serves individuals and businesses who are serious about long-term financial goals by providing solutions that help achieve those goals.
