Josh Olson, JD, CFA
Senior Analyst

Josh Olson joined Edward Jones’ Research department in 2007 as an associate analyst covering the consumer sector and now covers software and services companies in the technology sector. Prior to joining Edward Jones, he worked for six years as a software applications developer designing web-based applications for both Microsoft and Unix-based platforms.

He also has one year experience teaching high school algebra. In 1997, Olson graduated with honors in philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. He received a second bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Missouri in 2000 and a juris doctorate/MBA with an emphasis in law and finance from St. Louis University. Olson holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis.
