Insured Bank Deposit
Rate (%)
Current Rate Information
0.01%

For the Insured Bank Deposit Program, the program interest rate is impacted by several factors, including the total amount paid on deposits by the Program Banks, the fee paid to Edward Jones and a fee paid to a third-party that assists Edward Jones in operating the program. Edward Jones determines the portion of revenue it receives as a fee. The fee paid to Edward Jones will affect the interest rate and may exceed the amounts paid to clients in the form of interest. Neither the program banks nor Edward Jones are required to offer the highest rates available or rates comparable to money market mutual fund yields. In contrast, money market mutual funds generally seek to achieve the highest rate of return consistent with their investment objectives, which can be found in their prospectuses. Additional information concerning the interest rate and other important disclosures are included in the Program Disclosure (pdf).

Unless otherwise specified, rates are expressed as yield to maturity (YTM).

This information is presented to better enable you to recognize the underlying differences between investments featured and the resulting relationships of the rates presented.

There is a risk/reward relationship to every investment. Put simply, this means the higher the rate, the greater the relative risk.

Unless otherwise noted, the investments shown are for a specific term. The rates displayed assume ownership until due date or termination date for the investment. Should your ownership cease for any reason prior to that due date, the amount of principal you receive may differ from that originally invested (market risk), and your return may differ from that shown (interest risk).

Diversification should be a major consideration when selecting investments. The rates and yields presented are those available on the date and time displayed, and are subject to availability and change without notice.
