The ranking is based on an employer inventory of practices and an anonymous survey of employees, who were asked to agree or disagree with dozens of statements about the firm, teamwork and their individual experience at the firm.

Arizona

No. 7
For 5 consecutive years, Edward Jones has ranked among the Best Companies to Work for in Arizona.

Republic Media (The Arizona Republic, azcentral.com, La Voz) teamed up with CareerBuilder, a global leader in human capital solutions, to rank the state's top 100 employers. Companies named top Companies to Work For in Arizona 2016 were divided into 30 large, 30 medium-sized, and 40 small companies based on the number of people they employ in Arizona.

The ranking is based on an employer inventory of practices and an anonymous survey of employees, who were asked to agree or disagree with dozens of statements about the firm, teamwork and their individual experience at the firm. This is the first statewide program of its kind where companies that made the list were selected based on both employer practices and employee engagement and satisfaction scores.

Edward Jones has 260 branches in Arizona as well as a regional headquarters campus in Tempe. The firm is growing, adding branches and seeking new financial advisors who are interested in operating an entrepreneurial office with the support and benefits of one of the oldest and largest firms in the industry.

Phoenix – No. 2
For 13 consecutive years, Edward Jones has been named to the Best Places to Work in the Valley list, and is the only firm on the list to have received the honor since the list's inception.

The Phoenix Business Journal teamed up with Quantum Market Research to rank metro Phoenix area companies on their best practices. The firm ranked No. 2 in the extra-large company category, for companies with 1,000 or more associates.

The "Best Places to Work" in the Valley ranking is employee-driven, with 100 percent of the scoring based upon how associates responded to an anonymous survey designed to measure the quality of workplace culture.
