Nicole Ewing joined Edward Jones in late 2019 to develop and lead the firm's Canadian Advice and Guidance area focused on client needs. Nicole joined Edward Jones with more than 15 years of experience in the wealth management industry, having most recently served as vice president, Tax, Estate and Business succession at TD Wealth. Prior to this, she practiced as legal counsel to a national financial services firm after honing her expertise working with clients at highly respected national and regional law firms.
After graduating as a gold medalist from her B.A. (hons) program at Western University, Nicole earned a juris doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005. In addition, Nicole has completed all three levels of CPA In-Depth Tax and holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU) professional designations. In 2018, she received the Dunstall Award for CLU Studies for achieving the highest examination marks for all CLU course subjects.
Nicole serves as the deputy chair of the Ottawa branch of STEP Canada and is on the National Awards and Member Services Committees. She is a long-time member of the Ottawa Estate Planning Council and the Canadian Bar Association.
Nicole relishes the opportunity to share the firm's guidance directly with investors and professional organizations through frequent speaking engagements at both client and industry events. She has been a frequent guest on BNN Bloomberg and is often quoted in the Financial Post, The Globe and Mail and other print mediums and radio programs.
