Edward Jones Principal Rachel Meier is responsible for the Edward Jones teams that ensure the integrity of the firm’s advice and guidance is maintained as it is applied across the organization into training, tools, systems and service. Her team also provides technology solutions for Advice and Guidance, ensuring that home-office associates and branch teams are equipped with the technology needed to serve the needs of individual investors.
Rachel began her Edward Jones career in 2001 in the financial planning department, preparing tailored financial solutions for clients. She then transitioned to a portfolio manager in the Edward Jones Trust Company. After that she supported the Financial Assessment and Support Team (FAST), launching the U.S. and Canadian client needs tools. In 2009, she created the Client Consultation Group, which assists high net worth clients with their financial needs, and led the group until assuming her current responsibilities in 2014. She was named an Edward Jones principal in 2016.
Rachel serves on the Edward Jones’ Investment Policy Committee, the group that develops advice and guidance based on the firm’s investment philosophy to support the efforts of branch teams to help individual investors meet their long-term goals. She presented as an expert in technology and retirement solutions at the Investment News 2008 Retirement Income Summit.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, Rachel worked for Motorola and was a relationship manager in a regional bank’s private client group.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal.
