Bill Anderson joined Edward Jones in 2002 and opened a branch office in Madison, Ala. In 2006, he relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he continues to partner with individual investors today.
Anderson has volunteered in several regional leadership positions and has served as a support specialist, performance leader and client service excellence leader.
He has attended the Managing Partners Conference, an annual event that recognizes the top 350 of the firm’s more than 14,000 financial advisors, and two Financial Advisor Leadership Conferences, an annual event that recognizes outstanding financial advisors.
Anderson began serving in an advisory role for the Edward Jones Investment Policy Committee in September 2015. In this role he provides insight on how the firm’s guidance and advice can help clients work toward achieving their long-term financial goals.
Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a master’s in space operations from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a master’s in business information systems from the University of Alabama. He also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional designations.
Anderson coached community youth football teams in Alabama and Utah and has served on the board of a school dedicated to teaching parenting and language skills to Salt Lake City’s immigrant population.
