Vinny Ferrari has served as the chief administrative officer of Edward Jones since 2017 and is responsible for the Information Systems, Operations and Service divisions.
He provides critical thought and helps lead and drive initiatives that enable Edward Jones to progress toward its vision of becoming the first choice of serious, long-term individual investors by serving as a member of the Edward Jones Management Committee, which he has served on since 2006, and the Executive Committee, which he has served on since 2017.
After a 22-year career in technology on Wall Street, Vinny joined Edward Jones in 2003 as a senior director in Information Systems. In this role, he led software development for the firm.
Vinny was named a principal with the firm in 2004 and chief information officer in 2007. He has served on the Edward Jones Audit Committee since 2016 and as the Audit Committee chair since 2017.
For three years, Vinny served on the Securities Industry Association Technology Committee and as committee chair in 2006. He currently chairs the Security Industry Institute Wharton program.
Vinny attended Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics. He served for 25 years as a Loyalty Fund co-chair for the class of 1982.
A native of New York, Vinny has a passion for anything with wings, wheels, or a sail. He and his wife, Lynn, have two children, Tim and Maddy, both of whom live in Chicago.
