Ken Cella leads the Client Strategies Group, which includes the firm’s Marketing, Products, Research and Trading, and Solutions areas.
Cella began his Edward Jones career in 1990 and served as financial advisor in O’Fallon, Mo. During his financial advisor career, he qualified four times for the Managing Partner’s Conference.
In 2002, Cella was named a principal and relocated to the firm’s St. Louis headquarters, where he was asked to help expand the Edward Jones Trust Company. Four years later, Cella assumed responsibility for the mutual fund area in the Client Strategies Group, and in 2008, his responsibilities were expanded to include mutual funds, insurance, banking and advisory products.
In 2012, Cella moved to Branch Training to assume responsibility for the department. He served in that role until 2014, when he assumed shared responsibility for the Branch Development division. He assumed his current responsibilities in August 2018.
Cella is a member of the firm’s Executive and Management Committees and is the senior executive sponsor for the Inclusion Council and the Hispanic Business Resource Group. He serves on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Board of Directors and Private Client Group Steering Committee.
Cella serves on the St. Louis Regional Chamber Executive Committee, University of Missouri-St. Louis Chancellor’s Council, Washington University in St. Louis Danforth Circle Committee and Bauer Leadership Center Advisory Board, and Concordance Academy of Leadership Board of Directors.
A native of St. Louis, Cella earned a degree in marketing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School’s Securities Industry Institute.
