Edward Jones brought home a winner at WealthManagement.com’s Industry Awards black-tie gala at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on September 12. The financial services firm bested four other finalists in the Service category for large broker/dealers with its Product Partner Insights initiative.
By delivering never-before-shared insights in presentations to wholesalers, the winning program seeks to optimize the value of product partners to Edward Jones financial advisors in serving clients. Product partners are using these insights – into what financial advisors, clients and the firm value – to make it easier for financial advisors to serve clients more deeply with product-partner solutions as they build their practices.
Eric Koestner, Edward Jones principal for Packaged Products, accepted the award for the firm.
“Product Partner Insights is us inviting our product partners to take a look behind the curtain at what our branch teams really need – so they can tailor their solutions to help us deliver what matters most to our clients,” Koestner said.
Now in its fifth year, the 2019 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards presented 72 awards to 61 companies out of 166 total finalists, chosen from a record 658 nominations from 262 companies. In addition to its win, Edward Jones was named a finalist in the Practice Management category for large broker/dealers for its Branch Team Workshops training initiative to grow practices.
The awards are unique in recognizing companies that help advisors better support clients.

A panel of 14 judges of top industry names selected the finalists and winners based on quantitative measures of their initiatives – such as scope, scale, adoption and feature set – and qualitative measures such as innovation, creativity and new methods of delivery.
