At-a-glance Statement to Become Standard for New Accounts

For years, Edward Jones clients have been able to choose how their account information appears on their account statements. Whether you want just the vital facts, every last detail or somewhere in between, we offer a statement style to meet your needs — At-a-glance, In-depth or Preferred.

Traditionally, if a client did not specify a statement type, the Preferred statement type was the automatic choice when opening an account. Due to the popularity of the At-a-glance statement, it will become the default type for all new accounts.

This means that when you open an account, you will receive the At-a-glance statement for that account unless you specify otherwise. It’s important to know that At-a-glance statements are mailed in a separate envelope from our other statement types. Therefore, if information on your existing accounts is reported on Preferred and/or In-depth statements, your new At-a-glance statement will be mailed separately unless a change is requested.

If you encounter this situation and wish to receive all of your account statements in one envelope, you can specify that all your accounts be reported on the At-a-glance statement type or just a combination of the In-depth and Preferred statements. Contact your financial advisor for more details.
