Tony Vento, CFA

Tony Vento joined the Edward Jones Equity Research department in 1990. As an analyst following the consumer staples industry, Vento earned The Wall Street Journal’s All-Star Analyst honor four times in the 1990s. His current responsibilities include following companies in the health care industry, as well as serving as team leader for the health care and financial-services equity research teams. In 1997, Vento was named a principal of the firm.

Vento earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 1986 and an MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, in 2002. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Vento is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis. He has appeared on several broadcast media outlets and has been quoted frequently in several national business publications.
