Lanny Pendill, CFA
Senior Analyst - Energy & Utilities

Lanny Pendill joined Edward Jones in 1996 and has worked in various departments, including Retirement Plan Marketing, Financial Planning and Research. His role in Research has evolved over the last seven years where as an analyst he has covered companies in the U.S. and international utility industry along with the global oil and gas industry. Currently, Pendill is responsible for coverage of the energy sector in Canada, the utility sector in the U.K. and Canada and leads the Canadian Research team.  Prior to coming to Edward Jones, he worked as a personal financial planner with American Express Financial Advisors.

Pendill earned a bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in management from Missouri State University and graduated summa cum laude with a master's of business from Lindenwood University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the St. Louis Society of Financial Analysts.

Pendill has been quoted in various publications on energy and utility related topics, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the Financial Times, "NBC Nightly News," CNBC, Dow Jones, the Calgary Herald, the National Post, the Globe and Mail and  PBS' "Nightly Business Report."
