Andy Miedler, CFA, CPA
Senior Technology Analyst

Andy Miedler began his career with Edward Jones in 2002 as an associate analyst in the Equity Research department following the technology, media and telecom industries. He is currently a senior analyst responsible for coverage of the software and IT service sectors.

Prior to joining Edward Jones, Miedler worked as a corporate tax consultant for Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Miedler graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he received his master's of accountancy from the University of Missouri- Columbia in 2001. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant, placing second in Missouri and in the top 120 in the nation on the May 2001 CPA exam. In 2006 Miedler was named a member of the St. Louis Business Journal's "30 under 30." 

Miedler is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of St. Louis, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Miedler has been quoted in numerous publications including USA Today, New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Bloomberg, Los Angeles Times, Seattle Times, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune and the Washington Post. In addition, he has appeared on CNBC, PBS' "Nightly Business Report,"  Bloomberg TV and Radio, National Public Radio and the Business News Network in Canada.
