Tom Kersting, CFA
Senior Financial Services Analyst

Tom Kersting began his career with Edward Jones in 1997. He is now an equity analyst following financial services companies in the Research department.

Kersting meets frequently with senior management of the companies he follows in order to help make investment recommendations for the firm's more than 11,000 financial advisors and more than 7 million clients. In addition, he develops financial models to evaluate and forecast financial trends and publishes industry overviews and company-specific reports.

Kersting graduated from Truman State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis.

Kersting has been cited in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, BusinessWeek, USA Today, Bloomberg and the Washington Post. In addition, he has appeared on CNBC and PBS' "Nightly Business Report".
