Linda Bannister, CFA
Senior Healthcare Research Analyst

Linda Bannister joined Edward Jones' Research Department in 1993 as a service specialist and three years later was named an analyst following the media and leisure industries. In 2000, she left the firm to join Banc of America Capital Management, working as a senior analyst in the media, entertainment, cable and publishing industries.

In April 2003, Bannister returned to Edward Jones and is now a senior area analyst responsible for the healthcare sector.

Bannister graduated cum laude from Southwest Missouri State University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in finance. She earned her MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1993 and became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1997. Bannister is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Bannister has been quoted in numerous publications, including BusinessWeek, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes magazine, cnnmoney.com, Chicago Tribune and the Washington Post. In addition, Bannister is a member of Washington University's Institutional Review Board.
