| Ted Jones, 1948 | Mr. Jones' son, Ted Jones, returned from New York, where he'd been working and going to school, to work as one of the firm's financial advisors. |
| Ted Jones, 1968 | Ted Jones replaced his father, then 75, as the Managing Partner. |
| John W. Bachmann | The firm realized Ted Jones' dream of opening 300 offices, and Ted named John Bachmann as the firm's new Managing Partner in 1980. Bachmann led the firm till January 2004 and is now a senior partner in the firm. |
| Douglas E. Hill | Douglas E. Hill, chief operating officer from 1998 through 2003 and managing partner from 2004 through 2005, continued the Edward Jones tradition of bringing investment services to individual investors. |
| James D. Weddle | James D. Weddle began his career at Edward Jones as an intern and later became a financial advisor. In January 2006 Weddle became the firm's fifth Managing Partner. |
