The seminars are held at convenient times and places which suit investors. Information packs and refreshments are provided and you are welcome to invite a guest.

Interactive workshops
The Edward Jones Financial Workshop for Individual Investors, held over several weeks, teaches the basics of investing based on the conservative philosophy that has proved successful over time.

It consists of practical classes for small groups and covers the following:

• Foundation - setting financial goals
• Contingency planning - being prepared for the unexpected
• Own investments - such as shares, property, share-based mutual funds and share-based capital investment bonds
• Loan investments - such as cash, government bonds (gilts) and corporate bonds
• Mutual funds
• Tax-efficient investments
