Victor and Maureen had always been interested in investing in mutual funds. They began investing in them when they were members of a local credit union. But about four years ago, the person they did business with at the credit union decided to become an Edward Jones financial advisor*, so Victor and Maureen chose to stick with her.

"We always consider whatever she advises," he says, "we're retired and she's doing an excellent job of making sure our funds last through our retirement years." She's even made it easy for them to keep track of their finances. With their accounts consolidated, when they want information on any of their accounts, they only have one place to look - at their monthly Edward Jones statement.

The couple has attended several financial seminars at the recommendation of their financial advisor, and their business with Edward Jones ranges from mutual fund and bond investments to an Edward Jones debit card.

When reflecting on their financial advisor, Victor said, "We were her first clients at Edward Jones, but our relationship with her is much deeper than just the business that we do."

When Maureen celebrated her 65th birthday this past year their financial advisor was there to celebrate the milestone with them. You might think that sounds unusual but we don't. Like Victor and Maureen, you too may like to do business with a person who lives in your community--someone who will work with you to help you achieve your financial goals.
